Location next to a tram stop was fantastic. I enjoyed exploring Kleinbasel just around the corner. Breakfast had enough variety to start the day well, and my room was comfortable with a nice view of the street. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. Some street noise made it a bit hard to relax at times. Plus, the pillows were too soft-I would have preferred something firmer.

Very good location: 5 minutes from the city centre (by foot) and 10 minutes from main station / airport connection (by tram). Very well connected with the whole town thanks to different bus and tram lines just in from of the hotel.

Lovely basic hotel, close to the city, pizza restaurant downstairs. Very friendly staff.
Late check-in seems a bit awkward but actually works fine, just make sure you get the pin for the door before you travel.

The sandwiches at the hotel restaurant were a must-try. I couldn't get enough of those hot and cold delights! Plus, the location was next to some awesome local eateries like Kaffi Sandwich and Brauerei. The staff were so cute, too, especially Nichole and Sabrina.

The hotel was convenient in the city. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the room was comfortable. In particular, the ensuite was well finished and the shower was one of the best I have experienced in a hotel.
Being located on the main street, there is quite a bit of noise from passing traffic. However, closing the windows makes a big difference in reducing that noise - if it is a problem - it didn't bother me. The floor boards creaked a little when walking across the floor. That may have bothered people on the floor below - I do not know.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center and close to public transport. The breakfast was good with a good selection, and our room wasnice and neat with a work desk and a great shower. Plus, the kids loved the pizza place in the building!
There were a few steps to navigate with heavy luggage.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, they were all multilingual. The room was bright and spacious, and very quiet at night (good for a baby!) thanks to the double glazing. The building is a refurbished house, so you get a bit of the feeling of the place, and it feels great not to be contributing to the eyesore that most hotels are. The breakfast was great too, with plenty to choose from and good quality. And the pizzas from the restaurant downstairs are very yummy, and a lot cheaper than eating out.
The furniture was a bit worn, and the bathroom rather tiny, but nothing too bad, really.

Had a fantastic stay! The room was cozy with soundproof windows, and the breakfast spread was simple yet delightful. It was disappointing that the tea selection was limited, though. I would definitely return!

The location with tramway nr 2 , 10 minutes from sbb railwaystation, each 15 minutes
We know : Switzerland is high priced country. If you need to be in Basel , you better can find an hotel like this in nearby Germany for half the price and better quality. And take the train of bus to Basel.

We enjoyed a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast spread was quite ample-my grandkids loved it! The easy access to public transport made exploring the city easy, and the pizzeria downstairs was a hit with the whole family.
My kids wished for a bit more play space at the hotel.

The stuff was nice and polite, and it was relatively close to the conference center although in my opinion not the best side of the river in Basel.
Although the stuff was nice and polite, the rooms are small, furnitures are old, beds are old and not comfortable, carpet in the room is old and seems dirty ! The hotel is not good, and does not value the 520$ I payed for 4 nights over there! My room was so small, it had a single bed in it and opening the suitcase in it covered the space of the whole room. I will definitely NOT go back there ever !

It was just a perfect match for a momentary pause in Basel with a great value-to-price ratio. We loved the modern bathroom with great water pressure, a genuine treat after a long day. For a smoother stay, think about reserving a room away from street noise if you're sensitive to it.
